[1]-First of all Open any image as I did take following image

[2]-Now Open New Layer & then create the following selection with the help of Rectangular Marquee Tool

[3]-Now press Ctrl+Shift+I & then select Gradient Tool & use the following gradient

[4]-Now fill the Gradient with right to left direction & your image should look as shown below

[5]-Now go to Filter>Aritistic>Underpainting & use the following settings
